Entertainment and Activities
We are looking for people with fun hobbies who are interested in leading a workshop - for example drama, sports, magic, circus skills... Do you have anything you can share with your community? Have you been to any exciting workshops or performances? Is there someone you would like us to invite? Children's, adults' or mixed.
Funding
Last year Sign Circle relied on a Grant for UnLtd to get us started. We still did not cover the cost of the camp. Do you know of any businesses who may be willing to sponsor us?
Coordinators
We are looking for coordinators in some areas. This year we aim for the coordinators to be working in pairs. Are you interested in getting involved in preparing for Sign Circle? We are looking for coordinator to organise the workshop time table, site crew, security/car park and cleaning teams. Being a coordinator means you need to think about things BEFORE the camp happens.
Organise your team, keep in touch with the other coordinators and chat about any worries/problems. Paul and Paulus are available for support to any of the coordinators - we have been involved with all the roles so we can usually help to solve any problems! We mostly use email and MSN to keep in contact and all coordinators must be BSL, and be willing to be on camp from the beginning and until the end. We are all volunteers but the feeling you get when you see the festival happen is well worth the effort!
